Provence holiday rental home:
Provence is famous for its long, lovely summers from May to September. April and October are a feast for the eyes, from the technicolor cherry blossom to the rich burnish of the vineyards.
But what about the winter months - what is the Luberon like then? Actually it's my favourite time of year. The food and wine are still as good, there are plenty of sunny days, even days when you can eat outside, and you have the whole place largely to yourself. As for the scenery, I'll let the pictures do the talking - they were all taken in January 2004.
